Welcome To North Heights

We want to let you know our body of believers has open arms towards you. We will love you unconditionally right where you are. There isn’t anyone in our church who is perfect, who has their life totally figured out and put together. 

But we do know the Source of Life, we do know the Source of Forgiveness. We do know the place to go for healing, comfort, strength, power, peace and love. All of that flows from the living Word of God, the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world, Jesus Christ. We have committed our lives to Him. We trust in Him completely for everything we need in this live and in the life to come. We believe He loved us so much that he died for us and that in three days He rose again! He ever lives to give us life here more abundantly and eternal life with Him. 

At North Heights Baptist Church we believe that the Bible is the word of God. We seek to read and soak in its truth everyday in our personal lives. We seek to study it and explain it to our people in plain words. It is God’s revealed truth about Himself, about ourselves, and about how we can live life to the fullest here and in the life to come. We want to equip YOU to know what you believe and be able to give others reasonable evidence as to why you believe it. 

We want our people to have a loving, exuberant relationship with God. We want to express our love to God in worship that is pleasing to Him. 

We want to give our lives and treasure so that every person on the planet has the opportunity to hear the good news of Jesus Christ in their own native language and an opportunity to trust Him the way we do. 

We want to share with our community how they can learn to trust Jesus as well and show them the love of God through meeting their needs physically, emotionally and spiritually. 

We want to help people grow in their faith. Our older leaders spend time and pour their lives into new believers one on one and in small groups so that they learn by example. 

We know from experience that God answers prayer! We emphasize both personal and group prayer. We teach people how to pray. We know that God wants us in daily communication and communion with Him and wants us to pray about everything. 

We want to strengthen families in our community! We know God instituted the first marriage and He wants our marriages and children to reflect who He is. 

Lastly, and very importantly, we emphasize loving one another. That means spending time together, caring about each other, listening, praying, encouraging, speaking the truth to one another in love and forgiving each other.
